Cemquick, an ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive with low viscosity, is ideal for bonding a diverse array of materials when rapid curing s essential. Upon application of a thin layer of Cemquick between two surfaces, it reacts with atmospheric moisture, leading to swift polymerization and the formation of a strong bond.
Cemquick is specifically designed to provide robust, versatile bonding for a variety of non-porous substrates such as plastics, rubbers, and metals, as well as porous materials like wood and leather. It is suggested for applications involving tightly fitting components and uniformly smooth surfaces. Additionally, it can be applied post-assembly to infiltrate parts effectively.
1. Ensure that the surfaces intended for bonding are thoroughly cleaned and dried, preferably by solvent-wiping
plastics, glass, and rubber, and by acid-treating metals if applicable.
2. Apply a single drop or several drops onto one surface only. Use just enough adhesive to create a thin film once
compressed.
3. Press the parts together firmly and maintain pressure for a few seconds. Achieving good contact is crucial, and
a sufficient bond typically forms in less than one minute.
4. Remove any excess adhesive from the container’s top and securely recap Cemquick after use, as exposure to
air can lead to contamination from moisture and subsequent deterioration.
5. Note that due to polymerization, Cemquick may sometimes exhibit whitening on the container’s surface.
It will not bond PTFE, nylon, polypropylene etc.
8 months from date of manufacturing. If seal is opened, shelf life doesn’t apply.
• Keep products in the unopened container in a cool and dry location.
• Best when stored product in a cool, dry place at temperature 20-25°C.
• Temperatures less than 2°C can adversely affect product properties. Do Not Freeze.
• Keep packing tightly closed until ready for use.

• Material taken out of containers could become contaminated during usage. Refrain from returning any unused
product to its original container.
• Ensure proper ventilation when using.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of skin contact, rinse with warm water or dissolve gradually with a
solvent like acetone; do not attempt to forcibly remove.
• If adhesive enters the eye, keep the eye open and rinse thoroughly, then seek immediate medical attention.

• As with all chemical products, care should be taken during use and storage to avoid contact with eyes, mouth, skin and foodstuffs. Treat splashes to eyes and skin immediately. If accidentally ingested, seek immediate medical attention. Reseal containers after use.
